And honestly I don't think archers wearing basically no armor should be able to be run down by enemies with 2H weapons in full heavy armor if you're trying to be realistic with archery weapons, either. Nor do I think an archer should be capable of blocking anyone with a 2H without immediately losing every ounce of stam. One way or another "fine" is not a word I would use to describe every ranged class.
archery feels not very rewarding, even when landing HS.
Archers are OP, and if you disagree you're bad.
I think they're in an okay position as they are now since crossbow and bow attacks are still decent in a 2v1 context.
However, I will say that the Javelin could do with some buffs to make up for being slow as all heck and having the underhand thrust for a slash. I still think they should change its damage from 85 Cut to 75 Blunt. As it currently stands, throwing axes are better in nearly every way.
