its been like this EVERY UPDATE. whenever mods dont work after updates, just do those steps.
In sm game directory - Delete everything but (!!!) asset archive folder. It’s main game files, you need them
In asset folder delete both toc and toc.bak files
In mod tool folder delete assetarchivedir.txt
Do verification of files in steam
After verification complete - open mod tool, give it path to toc file again and reinstall mods"
Copied from JediJosh's Discord if anyone wants to try it, I re-installed the game before trying it.
let steam search for problems
Delete assetArchiveDir.txt in the PC modding tool folder
start Modding tool set the asset archiv new
install mods
and all works
Thanks very much it worked for me.
