I personally love this game including the open world stuff.
Games like these can be a nice change of pace, something relaxing to play every now and then.
Which is completely fine.
Or they enjoy good immersive games in which combat and traversal looks and feel amazing while some other folks (you) enjoy actual boring glorified sudokus.
I think it comes and goes in waves. There are times, when I get completely caught up in games like this, discovering things, etc. And then there are days when I do feel like it's just a slog, and would rather play something else. Or I'm compelled at some point to keep playing just to try and 100% something.
The same thing happens to me in all the open world style games. Whether it be a game like Horizon, or something from the AC franchise.
That being said, I still enjoy them overall - the pros outweigh the cons, and I find them to usually represent a good value for the cost of the entertainment.
Yeah i never see them now and i don't really miss them haha.
to each on their own.
i know what you feel, and that was in borderlands 2.
i found that games is bland, despite other players likes it a lot.
