I mean it came out a year ago. It would be really weird to delist it.

Still, it will probably eventually come. This is what i would say a high possibilty of being delisted in the future. But for now, it looks safe.

Why would it get delisted? Its different from the Remake version.

Yes, but so was sonic 1,2, and 3 original versions. Sonic Origins for example added the hidden palace level, so they were different somewhat too, and added newer playable characters in some levels that were not in the original version. Yet Sega removed the original sonic games off steam, including Sonic CD. Just being a bit different does not mean it will not be removed eventually.

Well its more than a 'bit' different.
This one won't get removed until they try to sell us an entirely seperate P3:Re:Reload that includes the FemMC version.

At this point, we can only wait and see what will happen. Neither of us do not know for sure, so we can only speculate at this point sadly. As i said, im just going by how Sega has treated their own IP's in the past. There is evidence to support this too. Again, both of us are just speculating though at this point. We will have to wait and see.

Pretty soon the original version of Sonic Generation will probably also be delisted off steam. They added shadow to it, and people are even saying why they just did not sell it as a dlc. I can tell you why, a full game is worth more than just some dlc, so it is about greed.

If you can show concreate evidence that Sega does not delist all it's old games, then yea, i would agree with you.

Well certainly time will tell.

But given that they are still selling both Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal on the playstation store I think it will stick around. And they still have P3P as part of a bundle on both platforms. I think Atlus' history makes more sense than Sonics to follow.

I honestly did not know about that on those systems as i do not own them. Thanks for the info. This is good evidence.

Persona 5 is in a weird place due to its sequel, Persona 5 Strikers, not accounting for the additional events in Royal. If SEGA only had the latter available, fans would be amiss wondering why Kasumi isn't so much as even mentioned in Strikers.

Speaking of, I'm surprised Strikers never got DLC to incorporate her into the title. Then again, Persona 3 ReLoad decided not to add either FES or P3P's additional story/characters so I guess I really shouldn't be. :steamfacepalm:

They did add Kasumi to P5 Tactica I think. (one of the launch DLCs)

But the point being Atlus loves doing versions with extra characters to justify selling us multiple versions of the same product. I'm sure thats the major reason P3P/FES content didn't make it into ReLoad. If it does well, they can sell it to us again.

Likely because it's a different game.

Persona 3 Reload has likely been in development for a couple years, and since ATLUS has said they have no plans to add things from Portable, namely FeMC, to reload, Persona 3 Portable still exists so that people can play the version of Persona 3 with FeMC's route.

P3 Reload will probably get Persona 3 FES' "The Answer" Epilogue though, I think that's already been leaked by leakers.

cause this versions better and Atlus knows it

Why would it. It's a different kind of experience.

segas only ever delisted sonic, and alpha protocall on pc [licence issue] they wont delist this. and sonic was sonic team choice, id be more worried about generations.
Kapika96 Feb 12, 2024 @ 12:31am
Why would they delist the superior version of the game?
