apparently there are 20+ new characters (confirmed by the steam page). The game only shown you 20 new characters, so maybe there will be a secret condition that you need to do first to unlock the secret characters.

Nope, apparently they don’t add achievements for licensed content. Because when they eventually lose the license and can’t sell those dlc’s anymore, it would lock people out in the future from being able to earn the dlc achievements if they didn’t purchase the licensed content in the past, if that makes sense.

This is just speculation, but I think once you unlock Richter and head across the map towards where Dracula’s boss room would be, you get to fight him, and maybe have the iconic dialogue exchange between the 2.

I haven’t done this yet but that’s my guess, plus one of the challenges eludes to this fact. Weather or not you can unlock Dracula after this possible circumstance is also a mystery.

Death and Dracula are in the banner art so, maybe they’re unlockable characters to some capacity somehow, I’m not sure but I’d be all for it

that image has a bunch of plot characters and villains from the different games shown on the right side. Dracula, Death, Isaac and St. Germain (curse of darkness), Albus (order of Ecclesia) and some others.
