This is a karaoke app for VR, which means you can basically sing VR solo or multiplayer with friends in a 3D space. You can choose karaoke songs from YouTube to sing along to. You all can sing together or take turns, but each one of you will be able to be heard as long as your mic is working. You can see each other's avatars.

That's really the whole app. There's two maps. A cozy karaoke room and a concert type venue. There is no locomotion. There is no smooth or snap turning. The only VR interactions are holding the mic automatically or the glow sticks and the point & click navigation of the menus.

App is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting variable frame rates from 45 to 90 fps. This app could be much better optimized. On the other hand, multiplayer & YouTube integration / streaming all worked flawlessly. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs.

This is a free app. It does what it says. It works competently. If you want to do karaoke with friends in VR, then I can easily recommend this app for you. If you want a duet partner, I charge $500 per hour.

For people who use various anti-virus software, IDP.Generic is a common threat name. IDP is 'Identity Protection', so when a security application detects a threat called IDP.Generic, it indicates that it was detected by this component (Identity Protection)...............funny

Surprised that nobody complaint about the delay monitored audio that goes back to your headphone? Hearing yourself half second behind beat is really annoying but it's the natural thing for a built in cheap audio card in our computers. Guess will need purchase additional sound card to be on beat monitoring and have delay echo effects for mic. UNLESS the developer can work something out to solve these problems then it'll be perfect. Also will be great to be able to log into your YouTube account since I already have hundreds of karaoke songs searched out in my Playlist. So with this feature users can get their karaoke songs much faster.

It seems like it will be a fun game and I love Karaoke, but unfortunately the mic is very delayed. It's literally impossible to sing in time with the song when you hear your voice half a second later. Hopefully they'll fix this!

So this game is Free and I do recommend it for that. There are a few issues. Other people and yourself talk in real time but there may be lag for others on the music side. so your singing will be a couple beats off which can really ruin a son. Also it seems anyone who joins can only stand right beside you almost on top which can feel uncomfortable and claustrophobic. Other wise having all of YouTube is awesome. Also if your room crashes you will have to reboot the whole app to make another. Also if you hate the recording of your voice being played back to you as you sing there is a setting in the menu to turn that off.

I played it today and i had rly bad experience with echo but i am using quest 2 on wifi. I tried to change to my jbl quantum 400 mic but its still usb mic, maybe a mic plugged into my sound card with 3.5 jack would be better i dont know, I have to try it in future.
I will not give thumbs down because in every other aspect this "game" look great and have rly nice concept and its free.. someone had to spend quite a lot of work doing this app and i appreciate it. I will return in future to try it more :)

Sing Together is a free to play VR game that is a karaoke program. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, sounded ok, played ok, was understandable. The English text has grammar problems. You can search for music video on You Tube in the search box. Has 9 steam achievements. You can host a room with max 4 people.

CONS:
- Not enough music in karaoke format.
- Not able to change your avatar.
- The mic adds Echo to your voice, not sure how to remove it.

Try this game, if you like to sing karaoke.

HTC Vive Pro, tried to configure my mic several times, including standard mic, USB mic, and headset mic, tried all the settings in both steam and windows 10, all the mics work outside the game, but alas not in game, shame as it looks good fun....unless i'm doing something wrong? But for now i have to say No.

I'm using HTC Vive, microphone is not working. Too bad.
