Why should I bother with the garden?
Seriously, why? Is there some gameplay benefit? Because otherwise I have zero interest in horticulture.

There's an upgrade you get apparently if you fully complete it. I have the starting spot planted and matured, but I still get no option to plant in the other spots.

On Jedha, on the way to the ruined bridge. You'd pass right by her (hard to miss if you're paying attention) following the main story.
Once recruited, she'll be in the roof garden and chat with you about different seeds you find.

Oh, and... she's not green but brown.

Some people like a little bit Extra of interactivity in game. Same with aquarium. You just make your home more wholesome, more... yours. Also upgrade if you finish it. Also achievment.

Yeah saying she was green was what threw me, but I WAS thinking it was her. When I saw her there, which seemed like a really odd location for a shop, I couldn't figure out why she was there.

Thanks

A bit like the interaction with Skoova. You not only get to listen to his Scottish banter, you get to watch him catch fish, then you can see them in the aquariums. He's hands down one of the coolest characters in the game IMO.

Then it needs to be not on the roof, the place where I never go or have any reason to go, so I never see the scenery by happenstance unlike the aquarium.

Lol, sorry but that just sounds like #FirstWorldProblem. "I can go one floor up to see the aquarium, but two for the garden?! Nobody has time for that!".

There's a force tear accessible only if you unlock the garden and recruit the character that takes care of it.

Ok, maybe I'll plant a few random shrubs there or something.
