I found myself recently never buy game on Day 1 in steam until 30-50% off, or on Day 1, buy key from official retailer which mostly has 25% discount on pre-order.
In addition, all the PC port in recent year just disaster on Day 1 and I no longer bother any new release.
5-10 bucks maybe, but only after they'll fix this disaster.
