What's the problem? FPS is fine?
I'm getting 60-70 fps on first real planet with 3440x1440 (that's ultrawide), everything epic, raytracing on and FSR at quality. Rig: 3080Ti + 9900k. There's literalla nothing wrong with the performance. Got a lower spec machine than this? Turn the details down a bit maybe.

edit
Removed the "4090 users claiming to get 30 fps are delusional" bit, was unpleasant.

edit 2
Patch made it go from fine to great. Good times!

I'm getting about 40 fps with a 4070 Ti, raytracing off, and on the Low preset.

Near as I can tell, no one on the 4000 series cards are reporting good performance, and it seems like the older generation cards have much better performance.

People with those cards are having those issues. EA have said it themselves. You are coming on tell people who have issues they don't because you don't! So nobody wears glasses because you do not? Great for you enjoy the game, I have a 4080 and 7900X3D, and have some issues, my friend has a 4090 and 7950X3D he games at 4K I game at 3840X1600 wide screen like you and whilst I am at a lower resolution, my friend has a better system and he is having worse FPS than me.

So the issues might be affecting specifically 40-series cards? Uh, well I guess that's possible, although sounds strange.

Game is not under your profile for some reason..

Reach Coruscant final boss, and the fist time you load into Mantis. I wonder if you have loading issues there. For me its oka, not great but playable.

I got an Ryzen 7 5800X + RTX 3080. I got 40-45fps and nothing change between epic and low settings....

Galax SG 4090/i5 13600k/32GB 6000 DDR5/4TB NVMe here and I'm getting 85+ fps with RT on and everything set to epic @ 4k resolution. Haven't encountered any problems yet to be honest.

Yeah I have a 3060 and I’m running 60 or more fps on high (did have stuttering during intro but it’s smoothed out)

But you "4090+13900 gives 30fps" people are basically delusional, at this point I'm thinking anyone saying that hasn't actually tried it on a 4090.

i9 13900k & 4090.

I get about 80 - 90 fps at the very starting section of the game. But the stutters make this game seem more like 60 or 40. It feels pretty rough and you can put the settings to low and it does nothing to the frame rate.
Arkanis Apr 28, 2023 @ 11:42am
in the starting area and for the most part getting 60fps and above with drops to 55, running at 1440p, the traversal stutter are annoying as per normal in any pc game released these days

RTX3070ti
I7 12700k

I don't have RTX 4090 myself, but there are videos as proof rather than just mere talking, no?

Statistically speaking, individual performing well (if it's true), doesn't mean anything toward the total pool of data.

Edit: I have RTX3060 and run very ♥♥♥♥ at the beginning area, but runs smoothly in Kobo.

You are using FSR, and at balanced no less. And you are running at a medium resolution not 4k. Even if you do have RT on. Yet you are only getting 60-70 fps with a 3080ti.

Sure, ''FPS is fine''

You are what, rendering your internal resolution at 720p or something?

No loading issues as far as I remember. I'm playing it on the EA store with the subscription thing. Maybe they have a patch not available to steam yet?

Nvidia 2070 Super w/ Max Q Design works well for this game. Everyone with performance issues needs to make sure there drivers are updated and disable ray tracing IMMEDIATELY. Go on YouTube and use a configuration for Elden Ring and you should be fine.

btw. I am using a computer with much lower specs than everyone commented above me and have no FPS problems whatsoever even while using high graphics settings.

dont think proof is needed, i think most of us will agree the performance is crap its just not as bad as i was expecting so i went in with low expectations. Still deciding if i want to refund...
Spladian Apr 28, 2023 @ 11:47am
5800x3d with 7900xtx - ~60fps @ 4k rez without RT. FPS seems way lower than it should be for not having more than 10 NPC's on the screen at any given time for the opening of the game.
