You mean GAME limited cuz trash optimization, the game doesn't even use the CPU so how can it be limited by it in the first place.
That's the weird thing about this game, it isn't using CPU much either.
Wrong, it's not a CPU limitation at all, it's poorly optimized junk of a port. Let's leave it at that.
It's just downright broken as it uses neither component properly to begin with.
On my PC (i5-13600KF, 32 GB DDR3600, 16 GB RTX 4080, Windows 11 Pro 22H2), the game can barely stay above 60 fps during gameplay and frequently dips below 30 fps, mostly during cutscenes. This is at 1440p on the Epic preset the game defaulted to but with RT enabled using the (lacklustre) FSR2 at Quality. If I disable RT and FSR2 and restart the game then the framerate only increases by about 5 fps and the same inconsistent performance remains.
CPU usage is around 40-50%, mostly around 45%, and GPU usage is so low that it actually clocked down during one sub-30 fps cutscene because utilisation was below 45%!!! Temperatures were not even exceeding 45 C; that is how underused the GPU is in this game.
The galling thing is that the game itself is fantastic from the 2 hours I've played but it really should not have been released in this state. EA could have delayed this a week and released it on May 4th instead but, nope, we are again beta testing the games for them. Oh, and AMD must be so proud of their sponsorship record...
youre annoying kiddo
So yeah it very much does use the GPU
You guys probably didnt check frequently enough. This isnt a problem that happens in every area.
