So what is the preferred platform for buying the game?
Is the agreed on consensus to buy it on PS5 now, and later purchase the fixed PC version on Steam at a discount in a couple of months?

It seems like the PS5 is the "safe bet"
But I am stubborn and don't plan to buy this game twice, so I will likely work through the PC issues...

Wow. You wanna purchase this game twice dude, really?

performance is fine, they already fixed 90% of it with launch patch, people overhyped and overplayed performance issues of probably a 3 week to month old build reviewers got.

This is just blatantly false... Performance is BETTER, it is NOT "fine"....

It's a bad habit, but I usually buy on PS cuz of exclusivity and play on my OLED TV, then later again on PC so I can play with higher fps and with mouse and keyboard.

Not when Playstation has a god awful refund policy that is rendered null and void if the user so much as downloads their purchased game. If anybody is looking to play this on console, I'd say Xbox is the far safer bet, as they have a two hour playtime refund policy.

I may not use mouse and keyboard for this game, I wanna test it, but I often play third-person games with them.

Nobody is going to buy the worst platform in existence just for a 2 hour refund lol

PC you know why. Most of the recent games were supposed to run like crap but did not on my system. So my safe bet remains my PC. This game will run fine also. May have to do some tweaks here and there but thats what PC gaming was and is to begin with.

It was like that more than 30years ago and it is still today. Deal with it or go buy a console of prefered choice.

You wont have any failure using a AMD graphics card. Nvidia is not designed for this game. I have amd, nvidia and ps5 . To get the best experience have a AMD card on hand.

I will play it on my Intellivision.
My friend got his copy on his 32X.

I go for steam, because it has the best features + steam deck.....and refunds actually work!

Probably, but...

I did this with Wo Long because many were saying not to buy on PC because it ran terribly there. I tried it later on PC and realized it runs fine on my PC and waaaaaaay better than on my PS5.
