Have you seen the vids with the update applied? I guess not.

The 4080 will do 1440p ultra no RT with well above 60fps or maybe 4k with some settings tweaked with FSR.

A scam of a card

Sigh. A 4080 will do HIGH with DLSS and a bit of RT just fine as long as you have a reasonable on par CPU. come on folks...

What I said is accurate see 4090 but worse...the update didn't make the 4080 better then the 4090, otherwise that's a hell of an update. And 2k60 for a card that costs $1800 cdn....well let's get this party started lol

Use AMD only cards. the settings are designed from amd not nvidia. read about it FSR 2 will be the greatest feature for everyone to experience 60 plus frames 4k. rendering a screen just under 4k say 2560x 1440 will be the sweet spot in max settings using rx6900 or higher card with 32 GB ram

It's all in the VRAM. I see all these expensive GPUs, but they come with only 128/192/256 bit buses. The max I've seen is 384, and on top of that, they are 6/8/12/16 GB, and 24GB only in ultra-high-end GPUs in a next-gen era where 8GB is not enough. On top of that, you all want 4K resolution with those tiny buses... I just can't. Also, Nvidia and AMD are using questionable quality memory chips, even if they are from Samsung.

They are abusing the delta compression technology, along with a lot of garbage like ReBAR/SAM and fast storage, just to compensate for the low bandwidth in current GPUs.

That's why we have a lot of stuttering and jerky frame rates in recent actual next-gen games, even with "high-end" hardware.

Expect your expensive 4090/4080 cores to just brute force all and carry all those bad memory chips. I'll see a lot of these cards with damaged VRAM modules in the next few years.

Your right the update makes a 3080 run like the 4090 was the 4080 will run better then what the 4090 was. I suggest you watch some updated videos.

Here ya go...

You not getting what I said at all lol so that's fine. Enjoy your slide show tomorrow

My guy, you are terribly misinformed.... this isn't a GPU brand issue, Its an optimization issue. SHUT UP with the low IQ comment, please.

Why??? Oh I know why, it's because the card is above your pay grade..... I'm sure the 7900XTX is too expensive for your taste as well.

For me is the 256 bit bus, questionable quality memory chips, 50 amp consumption in the power rails, high power consumption, no copper heatsink, also questionable thermal pad placement, some models don't even make proper contact in the memory phases vrm.

Also AMD is not out of thus, their PCB are made of paper this gen and they are also abusing the compression tech and using low bandwidth memory.

The PCB uv masking melts using isopropyl alcohol.

No, it looks like he is right.... it should be running way lower than the 4090RTX, but is performing much better in this test. It could just be the area where this testing took place.

If you watch the pre update vid you can see GPU utilization was at 50% thats the power of a 3080. You can clearly see that now that the CPU limitation has been fixed and the 3080 is running about the same as the 4090 was.

As for different locations we will have to wait and see but I don't see it verying much.

This looks promising, i wont be at ultra with an 8gb card but looks like it should run fine at high. but graphically it doesn't look that special on that map
