Stuttering on 4090
I am aware that this game has a numerous host of issues with it. Just curious whether anyone else with a 4090 is getting decent FPS but there is a constant stutter/hitching throughout the game ? Paired with a Ryzen 7800x3d.

there's stutter no matter the hardware

I don't own one, but I've seen too many videos showcasing stuttering for 4090. There is a DLSS mod for RTX GPUs. Recent forum posts are also suggesting RTX owners to get the mod. They claimed the mod improves performances like night and day.

just turn off memory compression for windows 10 or 11 and game will run better

I have rtx 3080 and i am running in 2k with high settings and maintaining 60fps now ,before i had to run on 1080 with damn near low settings and still stutter until i turned memory compression off now runs great

There shall be no stuterring except "traversal" stuttering when moving from an area to another (and inside Kobboh settlement :-( ).

get the dlss 3 mod for 5€ and it runs perfect with 4090. played in 5160x2160 without rt because the game crashes after time with rtx. recommend this for every 40 series user because the devs are so ...... words cant discribe.

Well damn , much improved . Cheers for that mate ! There is still a tiny bit of hitching when running across the large expanse of Koboh, but i assume that's still the game loading from the cache. Otherwise it's a much better experience already :)
You can follow this website WindowsClub where it teaches you how to disable Windows Memory Compression in both Windows 10 and Windows 11 OS by typing certain command "Disable-MMAgent -mc" via Powershell.

I had the same problems, with the same hardware. try the "mod" from the enough is enough discussion. got rid of almost all problems for me.

There's traversal stutter in big areas for everyone. The first game had it too. Other than that it's pretty smooth for me now.
