I didn't attend the wedding until about 40 hours in. Then I felt forced to plow through about 50% of the main story over the next 5-10 hours.
Just arrived in Kuttenberg region and I hesitate to interact with the main story out of fear of being forced back onto the rails..
This is not your game.
This game is not for everyone, like most good games are.
The best games will be loved to death by a big minority and disliked by the rest of most people.
I love this game, but I'm not sure if this game is meant for me.
(I normally like to have a lot of guns in game.)
Frankly, a game like this isn't really even for someone who refers to "fetch quests" as such; but there aren't really even many quests that are that basic in the first place. The vast majority of the sidequests have more depth than that, as does the entire main storyline.
I'm 34 hours in and barely finished half the quests in the first area. Some are fetch quests because, I mean, it's one of the basic parts of quest design. But there's loads of cultural rich content and tales tied into it.
It's true it's not perfectly accurate historically and they romanticize a lot of pretty bad things ingame, but it's still interesting to listen to local tales or stories.
You rushed.
These "pacing" comments are ridiculous tbh. The game is largely at your own pace. In fact, it's better htan the first game in this regard. In KC1 there were some quests, like Pestlince, that had a time limit but no time limit was explicitly stated or given, and so if you didn't hurry your arse people would die, which contrasts with much of the rest of the game where even when it seems like you should be not wasting time, you can take all the time in the world.
Yeah I don't get the complaints. The pacing is literally whatever you want it to be.
Yes, you don't need to play the first one, but you will understand alot more of some of the dialogues that are present in this game. I just feel the PTSD flashbacks in the beginning isn't enough to sum up the story imho.
But this game is deffo best game this year unless something big comes out.
reads like another poor attempt at the sad hate grouppie still here grinding the hate for no apparent reason.
should just take the massive fat L and go home.
