new mod system
I was using some mods to increase difficulty, like faster combat and 50% less damage delt, but after this new update, all those mods installed in the games folder dont work anymore and i have to install by steam workshop, but not all mods are avaible to download, so my question is, what do i do? can i still use my previous mods or do i wait until the modders realease then ?

just coming back to say that deleting the <support> lines in the mod.manifest files solved the issue. Changing to 1.* didn't work but just remove any line with <support> or </support> solved it :D
how do i do that? im not an expert in modding
In your KCD2/Mods folder, open up a folder for a mod. In there, you'll likely see a mod.manifest file and a Data folder. Open the mod.manifest file in a text editor (like Notepad or Notepad++) and remove the lines that start at <supports> and ends at </supports>, including all lines in between.
Leave all else alone in the mod.manifest file. Hopefully that helps.

I mean, this is so blatantly obvious.. Unless it's a mod that is immune from updates (something simple). At the end of the day if you want strict answers, ask the authors of the mods themselves..

Just update mod.manifest files to support current version. For example replace 1.1.* with 1.*. Most mod authors are releasing updated versions but you can do this yourself.

Before you start going through mod manifest check if your mods are working.

First check for updates on your mod manager and update any mods that require it.

Then open the game, load your saved game then quit it, this will update your KCD Log.

Open KCD2 in your Steam library go to properties then go to the Local Files tab and clicking on Browse Local Files. Once in the game directory, look for the kcd.log file and open it to view the log information.

Scroll down and it will have a list of your installed mods. If it says they are enabled you don't need to do anything they are working. If it says disabled you can then make changes to your mod manifest or wait until the mod is updated.

Alternatively there is now a mod on Nexus which will automatically scan the mod manifest and remove the support Tags for you it's called KCD2 Mod Manifest Cleaner (Remove supports game version Tags).

The combat speed doesn't seem to work properly even after deleting the support tag in manifest file. With that mod the timing to do combos are very hard for me in current patch. Rather than less dmg dealt you might wanna try the damage tweak mod(enemy hp increase) it's updated to patch 1.2

are u talking about the mod that increases the speed of the weapons trikes?
heartnetsky 16 MAR a las 12:50 p. m.
yeap, the speed itself is increased for sure but after that patch I'm kinda having difficulty pulling off combos with the mod, the timing feels kinda off whereas I have almost no difficulty before this patch

press "~" in game it would pull up a cheat window, scroll up and see if your mod is detected and loaded there. otherwise open your file explorer, open this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2\logbackups and find the logs which date you've installed the mod.

it usually looks like this:
[Mod] 'mods/SmoothCutscenes' supports game version '1.1.1' by wildcard '1.1.*', it will be enabled
[Mod] 'mods/speed_up_draw_' supports game version '1.1.1' by wildcard '1.1.*', it will be enabled
[Mod] 'mods/yefreitor_toughereconomy' is not limited to any game version, it will be enabled
