Boring game?

I'm only at the very beginning of the game and I've spent over an hour with nothing but dialogues... And then making a potion and more dialogue.

Is it like this all the time? Skyrim, which was an RPG, wasn't like this.

yep, enormous amount of trash dialogues followed by trash combat, with a cherry on the top with trash voice acting. ( no mentioning other cherries tho)

I was expecting to be gay in the first 5 minutes of gameplay, but instead I am picking flowers up and patting Hans on the ass.

The world's they build are alive and immersive. The mechanics of certain other things just rip you right out of that immersion. It's not boring but it is irritating to the point where the game is going along then combat happens and you don't wanna.

The beginning of the game. Then you will be given freedom and you can do whatever you want.

It's slow to start but once out of the starter bit the boring cut scenes stop and you can get on with it. But yes, like you, I thought the start was an awful snoozefest and was preparing to refund it. I'm glad I kept it though.

Only misgiving I have about the game is the combat is horrible. Everything else I have experienced in the game is good quality and engaging.

Indeed it wasn't, but here there is a tutorial, along with the building of the setting. Let alone that the things you need to learn here are way more than those of Skyrim.

Now we know your lying, the dialogue alone is well over 40 minutes if you let it play out, the rest is cutscenes with only a few moments the player can move or do anything.

It easily goes on for 90/130 mins and is clearly padding.
go watch anyone play, they are well over the 2 hr mark before they even get past the stocks.

if your spending 40mins from cart-to dragon cutscene u have a problem
