Ugh, yeah these aren't very good numbers. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that the game's already been cracked and you can just download it for free right now.
Not likely. It has to do with being woke garbage that the community decimated.
Maybe it's because not only has it already been cracked and you can download it for free right now, but because they allowed their financiers to dictate the lore and change the character from being straight to gay. Stuff like that.

maybe that is why it was cracked so quickly

I mean if it's true, it would make sense. All those people just curious about the game that refuse to give woke devs money. 🤣
I guess this is yet another lesson to game dev companies. Oh well.
Maybe next time they'll do better.

Not that I ever believed this game was going to be goty worthy, even before the scandal, but good luck even being on the long list at this point 🤣

Smashed their previous games max players in just one day.. pretty bloody good.
That's just the reality, and some have a hard time coping with reality much like when Indiana Jones failed, but they still called it a win in their head.

Even though this game beat most of the other junk in Numbers, it would've been near the 500k range without this nonsense sprinkled in here :steamsalty:

I think this is it, these numbers aren't a flop but aren't particularly impressive. What it shows to me is a lot of people didn't buy it due to the controversy.

Its a workday, and it's almost midnight, so no wonder.
Starfield had over 300M on Tuesday release.

Streamer - "This is a great game!"
plays for 1/2 a shift
Oh look, another person that doesn't understand basic statistics or how they pertain to gaming. Imagine trying to proclaim player numbers mean anything during a tuesday, right when Steam goes down for maintencance every week.

Like...wow... you have to put effort into being that dumb. I'm sorry but its true.

The population of gamers has gone up a lot since then, plus there is the hype of the first game having been a success when it was a startup last time. The numbers should be much much higher than this. I'm floored that it didn't even break 200k.

And the fact that the numbers fell off super fast just means that it was a lot of people trying it out before the 2-hour refund window was up.
If you play for less than 2 hours, you can refund it. I am genuinely curious what the numbers will be.

The wokes had a premature celebration, not unlike Veilguard.
