How To Downgrade and Upgrade MegaMix+

Disclaimer: downgrading can sometimes wipe your save data. Make sure to backup your game before downgrading. I am not responsible for any issues with save games.

Go to your browser and type

steam://nav/console

This will load the steam console

then type the following in the console for the version you'd like to install:

For Version 1.03

download_depot 1761390 1761391 7847606558180943343

For Version 1.02

download_depot 1761390 1761391 4628884024987211846

For Version 1.01

download_depot 1761390 1761391 6958067523308730344

For Version 1.00

download_depot 1761390 1761391 1192976705687991054

If the version you want isn't listed, go to SteamDB to find the version you want and enter

download_depot 1761390 

it will start to download, Do not do anything until a message saying Depot download Complete Appears

the old version of the game files will appear in

steamapps\content\app_1761390\depot_1761391

Replace the files in your current directory with these new files

ta-da! You are now on an older version of the game!

This no longer works as of ~2020. No matter which manifest version you request from the Steam client, it always downloads the newest.

You'd need to use Depot Downloader.
