i cant remove keyboard display and its so annoying and it started happening for NO REASON

That's happened to me a few times after messing with Steam Input settings. Restarting my computer always fixes it. Might even work just to exit and restart Steam.

The display for what does what changes based on the last device used. Use the mouse or keyboard, you get keyboard controls. Use the controller, you get prompts for your controller.

Sometimes the prompts will be controller buttons only when you're actually pressing them, then as soon as you let go they become keyboard prompts again. Even more annoying than a game showing keyboard prompts when you're using a controller is when it changes every time you press or release a button.

My keyboard has never displayed Jesus. I think I'd be upset if it did too. I feel your pain.
