That had nothing to do with Denuvo. Denuvo did obfuscate the removal of that code, but the actual code doing that was CAPCOM's own proprietary SteamAPI anti-piracy stuff that I have to workaround in every game they ship.

Fun fact, Monster Hunter: World no longer has Denuvo, but still has CAPCOM's performance robbing / stability harming SteamAPI anti-piracy.

A minor stutter in a sonic game I don't care for. But a stutter mid combo in a hard song? definitely a problem.

Denuvo doesn't run in the background. It's a passive packing process. Code is inside the game itself.

The review you read was written by a troll or someone ignorant.
Still causes many issues for people. Of course not all as depending on the implementation it isn't noticable in games. For example Sonic Forces and Rise of the Tomb Raider ran perfect on a 1070 but stuttered occasionally. When they updated Tomb Raider to remove denuvo all of a sudden load times decreased and stutters were improved.

now i understand. Makes sense.

I have a beef PC but I do get some occasional visual stutters. Even if I didn't experience this, I prefer to not have Denuvo with this game.

And how do you use that? I'm trying to input this code in a Cheat Engine Cheat Table but it gives me an error, I'm trying to enjoy the game and am trying to give every possible fix a try, but you need to elaborate a bit on the steps to follow.

Oddly enough, I'd never have gotten into Project Diva (and Sega wouldn't have at least $400 of my money) if it wasn't for piracy. Specifically the PSP titles which never got western releases. I never really got into rhythm games before the series, and I probably wouldn't have changed my mind were it not for having a random recommendation and access to it for the low investment of just an internet connection.

If you want to fight piracy, a better solution would be to hook up with a service like GamePass, rather than Denuvo. Someone relevant to this whole thing once said that "Piracy is a service problem". Can't remember who that was, though. Hmmm....

I'm running Ryzen 9 5950x and RTX 3060 Ti. Denuvo does indeed cause stuttering in the gameplay randomly. Sometimes it doesn't lag at all, but when it does it lags the game for about a fraction of a second, which is all you need to mess up a combo midgame. I've had it at least 10 times now, likely way more. Rather frustrating tbh

I don't know, if it is part of this problem, but I had similar problems with DJMAX Respect V. While chatting on twitch, someone said, that plugins like BTTV have a bug, that can cause peak CPU usage. DJMAX usually runs a lot smoother, when Chrome is closed. Of course, it is a bit off-topic, but it might help.

Yeah, no, that's not how things work.
if youre damming Denuvo - it DOES work like that.
if denuvo makes agame run badly, then it makes ALL games run badly on ANY hardware.

if our HRADWRAE beiung GOOD isnt a reason to say Denuvo " isnt " bad, or causing performance issues, then you cant turn around and say : well yeah it works on your system bc its good "

Sorry, basically just enable both of the memory addresses and then set the limit to whatever you want.

However... the game's limiter is trash and it counts too high. It's supposed to be capped to 60, but runs at 60.5 - 64 FPS for most people. That sounds good on paper, but it's NOT. Running at a higher FPS than screen refresh will just add latency.

Since the game's limiter already runs faster than it should, you can just add a third-party limiter to smooth out stutter and get rid of latency.

Disable the framerate limiter, those problems have nothing to do with Denuvo.

Software issues do not always effect all machines, what are you talking about? It doesn't even necessarily have anything to do with "HRADWRAE beiung GOOD".

person wwith a bone to pick says " that's bc your pc is good "

person with a bad pc says Denuvo is bad, bc its makign their game run badly
Person that has a good pc says " well, it works fine for me "

person on a chromebook " um, thats not how it works :emilieDare::steamthumbsup:

still in 2022, ppl are arguing over the fact that Denuvo doesn't do anythign but impede pirates.

have a swell day

It seems that maybe you have a little trouble with reading comprehension. What actually was said was:

First guy: "Hey guys, it seems like Denuvo is causing input lag and stutters on my rig"

Second guy: "It works on my machine"

Me in reply to Second Guy: "That's not how it works"

Because, again, software issues do not have to affect every PC for them to be actual issues. But have fun making up your own stories dude.
