Anybody gun stuck in aim mode during chapter 3???

After you get pulled by the worm thing and draged you shoot at it kill it but once you get up the gun gets stuck in aim mode. I cant bring up my inventory or save the game, i can use item and pick up items. Im just wondering if anybody else had the problem?

Nope, but I can guess what you did, you accidently pressed the "Toggle Aim Mode" button, when having the standard controll system, just hit caps and you should be fine. If that doesn't work you'll have to go to your controlls and check which key is binded to the "Toggle Aim Mode" (eventually bind a new key). Hope it helped.

Thanks to these gentlemen from 10 years ago. 1 for making the question, and the another for answering. I must have got nervous and pressed caps instead of shift to run lol.

Yup it's great all these threads still exist. My fix was to unbind all controller inputs (not keyboard) and that worked to remove the locked aim status for me in dead space 2023 just now.

but since when you have anything binded to caps? it doesn't solve my issue. The gun is still stuck. Moreover it shoots automatically once I load the game and each time i leave the "tab" mode.

What solved my issue was just a PC restart. It seems that what caused the issue was unplugging pad from pc while launching the game. Even restarts of the game didn't help. Restart of PC with pad disconnected resolved it.
