Game size. Please explain !!!
So I bought Deadspace on Humblebundle. I added it both to Steam and Origin. In Origin the total downlaod size is ~7,5 GB but on Steam it is ~12,5 GB. Can anyone tell me what are these +5 GB about ? Are these some bonuses or what ? I dont really understand.

I suspect it's for other libraries your machine will need to run the game, like .Net and DirectX.

I suspect its the DRM to protect EA's precious 10 year old abandonware game from YOU.

You must be new to Steam. It says "Disk space required: 12,5GB", but it doesn't actually download 12,5GB. You need that disk space not just for the download, but also to unpack and install all the files. Just try to download Dead Space on Steam, and you'll see on the downloads page that it doesn't actually download 12,5GB (probably around 7,5GB, same as Origin). That's how it is with all Steam games by the way. The required disk space it shows you before you confirm the download is usually about 50-100% more than the actual download size.
