Yes,but I VERY highly recommend you to cap your frames to 60(for all PC dead space games) and turn OFF ingame vsync(which caps it at 30 for all DS PC games like a poorly made, rushed console port game). You can force vsync or cap your frames via the nvidia/amd control center.
I also recommend mouse acceleration fix, cause by default mouse response/control it is TERIBBLE.

The game itself CAN have game progression halting script/door bugs if running on TOO high fps which is very easy because the game is very non demanding from 2008.Above slightly 60 fps will cause minor to major physic bugs like dead corpses flying at high speed into the orbit.

The issues above also apply to Win 7 or lower so cap your frames.

Yes, it runs well on Windows 10. And here is the mouse acceleration fix https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/840-dead-space-mouse-fix/, just copy the dinput8.dll into the directory where DeadSpace.exe is located. And like Crypto said, cap the framerate at 60, because you WILL have issues at higher frames.

Just reinstalled after having played the game years ago when it came out. Using Windows 10 with the current Spring update 5/2021. And its running fine through the first few minutes of game play.

I read up on the issues and the different solutions so I was aware of things to watch out for and options to set before launching a new game. Definitely turn off VSync in the game and use your GPU's control panel to set it. This eliminated jankiness with the cursor. Though my cursor and mouse performance was initially very sensitive after that and I had to turn down the dpi on my mouse, which is opposite of what I've been reading. Other than that, with limited play time, I have not needed a mouse fix.

I have a 4k 60 Hz display and the game supported this out of the box, I was under the impression this was not the case but this resolution was available. Also disable AA in the game options and set it with your GPU's control panel for much better quality.

With my 1080Ti I was getting frame rates > 300 fps so I decided to try DSR rather than the other options suggested to improve visuals, though at 4k without AA the game looked pretty good for such an old title. At a DSR factor of 4.00x and 0 percent smoothness the game looks a bit better reducing fps to around 150 on a 1080Ti. (Once you enable DSR factors in NVidia's Control Panel, you'll have those additional resolutions show up in the game's options.)

Using the NVidia Control Panel I also made settings specific for Dead Space: Image Sharpening to 0.65, Ambient Occlusion to Quality, Enhance AA Mode and AA to 2x, Transparency AA 2x, Triple Buffering to On and VSync On.

Interesting observation: Running GeForce Experience perf monitor overlay, the game is only using 50-60% GPU. Inaccurate?

Windows 10 1H Update 2021
Hardware:
AMD Ryzen 3700X
MSI 1080Ti
32 GB 3600 Ram
Razer Mamba
An SSD for OS and dev tools. An SSD for games.

Hope this helps, if not there are several guides addressing issues with the game.
