If I have the original, will I get the remake for free?
I think, I've seen some info about that... But can't be sure.

that is the case for remasters, sometimes. rework is a full new game made from scratch, so no, it is gonna be full price

EA's not that generous. Its surprise to see them actually even consider funding a full remake, considering they were pretty much chewed out for the directions DS 3 eventually took. It certainly further cemented their reputation as a corrupting influence that eventually destroys long standing franchises and dev teams.
