Controller or Mouse and Keyboard?

Just the title, would anyone recommend using the keyboard and mouse, or a controller?

You need to aim to shoot; that alone should make the choice obvious.

Yeah but I've heard there's some issues with the keyboard controls, it's why I'm asking.

Never had problems myself... the only issue I can think of is halved camera speed when aiming, but that's easily fixed even though I don't remember how right now, lol...

i dont think you can customise any keys, which is a big pain in the ass

And YES! It's absolutely playable with m&k! (as in: If I can - everyone can;-)

like any game, learn the controls and u be fine

mouse is quicker to aim with

Actually, having tried both, keyboard and mouse with some of the fixes posted about the community, it does indeed seem that the controller works best for this particular game. (Emphasis on "this particular game")

I have tried both as well,

My first time playing was mouse and keyboard, I was excited to try it on a xbox controller because I heard the game was better with one but I just could not get the feel for it like I do with a mouse and keyboard. I always feel like there is a 50% drop in accuracy when using a controller.

To me so long as you tweak the mouse to boost its sensitivity higher than the game allowes. Mouse and keyboard is the way to go, most of my complaints though are about keybindings cause if your left handed you can't really rebind the keys to the number pad. Luckly that is no longer a issue to me as I have a gaming pad now.

K+M once mouse sensitivity and vsync in game is switched off (don't forget to force vsync in control panel) worked great for me

With a controller for some reason I cant shoot when I press the fire button. I have no problems in DS 2 or any other game.

I prefer controller but you can always wimp out with kb/m.
