I've never used this, but you could see if this works, it is for Dead Space 2, but maybe they have something for Dead Space 1:

how the hell would a dead space 2 save file editor work with dead space 1?

Does anyone got a problem with this save editor? I used it to get missed log in chapter 3, but after that, I am at chapter 7, I see I miss the training logs and "CORRUPTION" log from chapter 3, Even adding it in editor dosen't really add them to the game, any tips? :/
