Only Developer can do any fixes.
I recommend going into your AMD/Nvidia GPU control panel and limit frames to 60 for ALL 3 dead space PC games.Or turn off ingame vsync and turn on control panel vsync. If you are over 144hz monitor, vsynnc can causes problems cause of high frames.
I played through the game like 7-8 times on Steam.I found the game to be "safe" to roughly 150fps.However even around 150 fps can cause slight warping issues, and physics will work differently(I had item clip out of geometry very rarely) than 60.60 is totally safe.<<<
The higher you go above 60 the more mouse control will go "worse and worse"unless fixed via mods.Or you can turn in vsync ingame for all 3 dead space games and enjoy the 30fps insane inputlag, cinematic ps3 era experience.
Also never use continue game in dead space 1 cause it can reset your difficulty to medium,Unless you are already playing on medium.....Also new game+ can also only be the same difficulty as the cleared game.
Thankfully later DS PC ports have less issues....cap the frames

I haven't noticed tbh. This is a slower-paced game, so it's fine.
