Dead Space audio and animations sync glitches @ 144hz

Has anyone with current hardware encountered any sort of compatibility issues with this game? I have an i7-8700k and 2080Ti, and while the game runs butter smooth, characters talk over one another, the beginning cutscene cuts to black instead of away from Isaac's monitor, and animations spaz out randomly.

Play at 60 fps, the game gets glitchy at high framerates. Either set the refresh rate to 60Hz and enable v-sync, or manually lock the framerate with something like nvidia inspector, since you have a nvidia GPU

How exactly? I tried - refresh 60 in the launch options but it didn't work. :(

Check in your monitor's OSD if there's an option to change the refresh rate, otherwise you can do that through Windows: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-change-monitor-refresh-rate-setting-in-windows-2626207
Or, like I said, you can avoid messing around with the refresh rate and just lock the framerate to 60 with nvidia inspector or some other software.
