I've already had to restart the game a few times. First due to installing a fix for the mouse accelleration. Another because I encountered a door glitch that made progress impossible. And a 3rd time cause the game flat out crashed on me.
I love this game, but jesus christ this is about to make me refund.
I recommend the PS3 versions of the trilogy. Xbox had a lot of issues for dead space 1 and 2. 3 was fine on both consoles.
You have only 2 things to do to enjoy it:
Disable ingame Vsync and enable it in your graphic drivers
Google and download Dead space 1 mouse fix: its a DLL file you put in your dead space install inventory so that you can enjoy keyboard / mouse controls without issues.
Its the best sci fi horror game ive ever played, just be sure to stay under 100 fps because it bugs if you play over it, game wasnt designed for such refresh rate when it was released so many years ago, on console.
Do not listen to these people complaining.
Also did you try capping the fps to 60 or at least 80 ? Mine works perfect.
It even has soft shadows on PC, whereas that's missing on consoles.
