even with one it makes you lag like s****
Stop playing devils advocate like some kind of fanboy and approach it objectively
Why should i be dependant on reviewers opinions on a game, like any person i wanted to experience it myself. and i did and was very dissapointed.
and no, the controls arnt difficult, i dont remember making reference to terrible controls, i did make reference to non responsive controls, if that's what you meant.
It's at this point i start to question your mental capabilities
Skyrim is by no means a demanding game with only the HD DLC. Try to install Realvision ENB or another one and some serious texture overhauls. That's demanding.
Skyrim has low requirements, it does not need any expensive hardware to run on the best graphics. However, Mirrors Edge utilizes something called PhysX, made by nVidia. Games with PhysX enabled allow for many functions such as additional particles, sort-of-a realtime object destruction or what would you call it, and much more. PhysX requries a good graphics card, and works best with nVidia GPUs - coincidence, right? So unless you have a decent nVidia GPU, you should not be playing with PhysX enabled, as it only lags and slows down your PC. Non-responsive controls? They respond pretty well, and I never had any problems with them - maybe back then when I first played the game, but that is logical. You should practice more. Demonizing your laptop? No I am not, I just told you not to expect a smooth gameplay with PhysX enabled if your PC/Laptop cant handle it - and a Laptop that handles PhysX? My friend has a nVidia GeForce GT520M, 4 Gigs of RAM and he still experiences lags with PhysX enabled. He can even play Crysis 3 - which is more demanding than Mirrors Edge with no lags on medium details, but Mirrors Edge with PhysX is unplayable. The point I am trying to make here is that your Laptop cannot handle this, and you are not willing to accept that. As for questioning my mental capabilities, that is not gonna help you play the game. Have fun.
EDIT: After playing 0.6 hours, you can already tell if the game is not worth it? Time to question your mental capabilities...
I have 4core 8 Gigs of RAM and the GeForce GT650M, physx won't work either. It' mostly cause of physx being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ implemented into the game.
This. It is not perfect, but it looks nice.
+1
I've never doubted that PhysX looks nice. It's still implemented in a bad way because there are PhysX games that don't force such performance drops, e.g. Warframe.
If you were referring to my laptop setup, of course it's not perfect but it's quite a bit more high-end than your friend's so I thought I should mention that.
