Mirror's Edge

Mirror's Edge

Any other platform games like this?
I got into parkour platformers first & third person years ago when I first played this on the Xbox back in the day and I'd love to find more parkour games so I have new worlds to run and climb around in, namely 3D ones in the ilk of this game and possibly Prince of Persia Two Thrones, especially if they are set in the present day or future.

Games I already have that can be discounted from suggestions are:

-Most Assassins Creed games (Xbox). Only haven't got the others due to money, time and hard
drive space

-All 3D Prince of Persia games, including the Tomb Raider IV clone one, POP 3D

-Dying Light

-Mirror's Edge Catalyst

-Titanfall 2

I also have Core Design's Free Running on both PSP and PC (both bought), except I need suggestions (and especially links) on how to make the PC version run, as it installs but refuses to actually launch, presumably due to DRM that isn't compatible with Windows 10.

Emulating the PS2 version didn't work as almost none of the floor barring the starting area had collision and I just fell straight through, while the PSP (and hopefully PC) versions don't have this glitch.

Other than cracks for my PC copy of Free Running, what other cool Parkour games are there? (3D ones)

Here on steam, I can think of Cloudbuilt, Deadcore and Lemma off the top of my head; all 3 are kinda... abstract... in terms of level design, but in gameplay terms they're really good 3D platformers, and that's what matters most in my eyes.

ah, and possibly A Hat In Time too... the platforming itself is nothing mindblowing, but it's tons of fun :Bsha_VII:

Well, I meant parkour games specifically but I'll check out the first ones just in case. I already have A Hat in Time. (it wasn't on the list as it isn't a parkour game, though it is still a platformer)

Thanks anyway. :) Do you know where I can find a safe crack for my PC disk of FreeRunning? Think Sands of Time crossed with Tony Hawk:

Tomb Raider I'm covered on. It's a normal platformer as opposed to parkour specifically, albeit a realistic one. I'll check out downward. Deadcore I recently got too as it looks cool.

As for Free Running, are there cracks or trainers (malware free) that remove the DRM on my disk or whatever's causing it not to work? I'd need someone to look into it and maybe even port it to modern windows, as I really want to play this game on PC, with better controls than my PSP copy. (not to mention i bought my PC copy too)

That's fine. I'm not interested in Brink as I'm not really a fan of multiplayer only games, like Unreal Tournament.

yea and its completely not a plattformer game at all, it barely has parkour elements that are very badly implemented I don´t know why would anyone recommend that game as a palkttformer

A story about my uncle] and [Valley] are 2 great parkour titles. I wish they would come out with valley 2 . Great story line. Could'nt complete the Uncle game maybe I need an X Box controller to be faster probably.

you'll probably like SEUM and HOT LAVA

They both look good, though with SEUM I hope it doesn't force speedrun time trials on you as I hate timed missions unless it makes sense.

E.g. good timers include Pathways into Darkness (Wolfenstein 3D meets System Shock with a helping of Quake 1), Prince of Persia 1 & 2, Blinx 1, Halo's Warthog runs except ODST which is timerless and my ideal version of End of the World from New Sonic. I might still get SEUM anyway and bite the bullet.

Either way, thanks. :)

I know it was mentioned earlier, but A Hat in Time is really great. I'd check it out if you can.
