Character cannot jump or use boost pack

Hi all,

Having an issue where my character is unable to jump. Tried keyboard and controller, checked keybindings, reinstalled game twice and removed all creation installs.

Anyone have this happen to anyone else?

Does this occur in previous saves also? If not, then you may have a corrupted save.

occurs in a new game and every save

Did you get the skill? You have to get a skill to use the jet pack.

Yes, true, but OP also states the character can't jump either. This leads me to believe the mapping for the jump/boost is simply not there, or possibly broken in the ini.

As was said you need the skill unlocked. You also have a hard time jumping/boosting if you are too close to a vertical surface, which is counter intuitive.

edit: starting a new game fixed this for me. still not super sure what caused it, but starvival was causing a lot of ctd's for me.

I'm having this issue right now. I have the skills for boost packs unlocked, i found a way to nudge myself off a ledge and at that point the boost pack DID work, so it's only jumping and getting into the air that isn't working.

Older posts with similar problems described the jumping animation playing, but them not actually jumping off the ground. This problem I have is different, no jumping animation plays at all, my characters feet are glued to the ground.

I have tried rebinding the hotkey to jump, won't work. I don't have any negative status effects, I'm not overencumbered. I am on a relatively fresh save, i have been troubleshooting some crashing and determined Starvival was causing problems, but this issue occurred shortly before i removed it.

My problem is that the pack is foot off the player and bugging the ♥♥♥♥ out of me
