Invisibility bug fixed?

I just popped in for a quick question does anyone know if they fixed the 3 chameleon bug? since Bethesda never fixes old bugs i wont hold my breath :(

Also, why would you need the effect on more than one piece of equipment? Not like it stacks or anything.

the effect stacks just like in Oblivion and without 3 Chameleon pieces you will be instantly detected in light areas, the bug is simple if you have all 3 your character or sometimes your head becomes permanently invisible when you get back up from crouch, you can fix it for a few seconds by reloading the game but it always comes back and its very immersion braking and annoying...

I have this bug (?) with the new mysterious spacesuit (the one you find in your room at the Lodge). It has the Chameleon effect.
Happens randomly, I don’t know what exactly triggers this effect.
Sometimes my guy is riding his vehicle, flying his ship or walking around the town fully “invisible” (to me only, everyone else can see him just fine), sometime only his head is invisible, sometimes you can see his gun but the rest is invisible etc.
When I say “invisible” I don’t mean “missing,” I mean “cloaked.”

Yeah that Spacesuit in your room at the Lodge is not part of the vanilla game, it's a mod. As for the Chameleon pieces in some space suit setups it's like HeyYou says in that one peice will do the trick.

I have noticed the Chameleon invisibility issue seems much better than it was, might even be gone altogether now because I haven't noticed it in a while with my character or my companions and I sneak alot in this game. Might still be there but they definitely addressed it on some level because at the very least it's much better now.

NO!!! Its not fixed. We should not have to stop playing and reload the game, just so we can see our character outside of chameleon. Stacking shouldnt matter, fix the BUG!

ah, don't use the in-game creations ... maybe something in that is causing the problem, or the load order.

I never use mods so there is no load order problem. I have only some official Bethesda creations installed. I think the spacesuit itself is bugged. This suit looks good and has very high stats (much higher than even NG+10 Venator) so wearing it feels like cheating.

um ... creations are mods ... just rebranded as 'creations' for the in-game store. many modders put their mods on both nexus and the creations store where xbox users can enjoy them too. also, load order can affect creations, that's why you have the ability to change the load order in the creations menu.

Let me clarify once again: I use ONLY official Bethesda content (Escape, Shattered Space, Vulture, the Observatory, the plushies and the suit I mentioned). I do NOT install user-created content, ever.
Bethesda creations used to be called official DLC. Bethesda specifically states that load order does not matter with their own creations.

For anyone interested the bug is still there :( you can not use 3 chameleon without it glitching out...

I only use one on my suit or helmet and it covers me totally.

They don't detect me, but I've also invested in Stealth. I literally just did a mission for McClarence and they were walking right past me, firing at my Adoring Fan. Even backstabbed two of them after they walked right by.
