You can find all announcements re: updates, current and future planned, here: https://bethesda.net/en/game/starfield/news
Why shouldn't we? Aren't these things published ahead of release especially if it's DLC in question? Other companies share the info before release.
The pink-purpley-foggy nonsense? They have caves? The city looks almost medieval? Looks always dark? They worship a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ snake? These are people in space. You'd expect them to act like it.
Btw yes I hate that it's on a "single hand crafted planet." The game has 1000 planets. So now this planet will have a ton of stuff but the rest will remain mostly empty? Make it make sense. They should add more content to the existing planets OR add more planets. Talk about a very linear, contained area DLC, damn.
It's how players know ahead of time what each Stellaris update or DLC will add, for example.
You know vampires in science fiction is not that uncommon. Stargate atlantis had them and a scifi book that name i cant remember had a vampire captain on space ship. Lot of ppl put that book on top 10 best scifi book list.
But i think we get detailed list the day dlc releases. Its super rare to get detailed patch lists etc on upcoming patches or dlcs. Early access games is more likely to do that and finished games not.
Do they? News to me.
I can only recall vampires in Blindsight by Peter Watts. But there they were COOL and scientifically-grounded, they were basically a disappeared branch of human evolution that humans later re-introduced. Not this "I wear purple" nonsense. I bet the Stargate vampire was NOT a stereotypical vampire.
Yes. Stellaris, Cities: Skylines 2, Conan: Exiles, just to name a few off the top of my head.
Bro we were told about the vehicle MONTHS ahead of time. "Coming in the next patch, this vehicle!"
So those games, when they have a key DLC coming out, detail the base game changes weeks in advance of the DLC drop do they?
And aside from that, Bethesda, do they have a history of detailing changes ahead of any update or DLC? No. Come on, even if you were new to Bethesda studios games, you're not new to Starfield, you know the change log comes out when the update comes out.
But yay, I guess I fell for the bait again. I thought you'd have a sense of humour about it rather than trying to be serious about it. More fool me.
Enjoy your time ranting about not getting a change log in advance. I guess.
