What this game needs (hope a dev actually reads this)
I doubt I'm the first person to suggest this, but what about a couple wormholes being discovered around the edge of known space. Venturing through each takes you to different worlds. One is the snowy, widswept northlands of a pre-industrial world with magic and dragons. Your ship lands near the start point with a modified beginning. You scare off the dragon, people see you exit your ship, and suddenly you're all anyone talks about. Guess you must be the Dragonborn, huh?

Alternatively, your ship appears above *Earth*, but not an Earth you've maybe visited. This one is predominantly *green* and has a high radiation count. Also, while some of the tech is scary advanced, a lot of it is really primitive, and there's a lot of vicious giant animals running around. Maybe admitting you're from space isn't the smartest thing. Fortunately, there's stories about "vaultborn" making the rounds, so maybe you could just scrounge up a suit and claim you're from the local vault. Scanners say it's a cryo storage facility anyway, so who's going to know? You'll just hijack someone's identity, and you're good to go!

In each case, the player has to own the original games, and has to use a tool provided by Bethesda with this software mode to import the necessary files into Starfield. Sure it would require adding a few visual tilesets to prevent' pink tiles everywhere, but since Bethesda owns the tilesets, I can't imagine it would be too difficult.

Being able to play Skyrim and Fallout 4 alike in Starfield, and travel around between them might just be the world-creating uberprogram you wanted this to be. It would certainly create a reason to play them all again, and for people who maybe think their days are done to invest in a GOTY edition to play the Starfield edition.

A fun "ahah!" moment would be if you trigger the endgame moment in Starfield, and the next time you travel the wormholes, guess what? They still remember you. The zones on the other side aren't directly connected, so you can't just abandon your effort in Fallout by advancing the game clock with another trip through the Nexus! This also means you can save stuff you care about in these locations, and come back later to pick up your stuff.

Is that you Todd? I am not buying Skyrim again, no matter how you package it.
Heh. No. Seeing as how I already own the software, that shouldn't be necessary. That's why I specified that you had to own the game files. A version of this was done to weld Fallout 3 and New Vegas together into a single coherent whole a number of years ago called "Tales of Two Wastelands." The same could work here. If you already have the games, great!

Edit: And while I know certain people in Bugthesda will see this as an opportunity to cash in *again*, the smart thing to do is to support existing owners as much as possible. They've got a lot of ground to make up if they want us to trust them with our cash again. An uber-meld of the two most popular programs using their latest effort as a bridge might be just what they need. And frankly, I'd enjoy it to bits. :)

<Come up to a group of criminals at the space station of your choice. whip out my heavily modified AER9 and start popping heads. Behind me, one of the crew pipes up.> "Ah.. Commander? What the *hell* is that, if you'll pardon me for asking?"

They won't read it here. The best you can hope for posting here is opening a new area for the broader culture war being waged here.
Post this in the Facebook group, Emil is in it

I'd buy Skyrim RTX.

The devs probably won't read this and, frankly, I'm sorry I did.
What about an ocean planet? We don't have 1. Similar to Kamino in Star wars episode II: Attack of the Clones

they'd have to introduce aquatic exploration, vessels, all new mechanics... fat chance. Unfortunately, bethesda has been creatively bakrupt to the point they can't even fathom copying other more successful games for a while now.

Neon is literally on an ocean planet.

could be a star station too and nothing of value would be lost. it's kinda pointless if you can't interact with the remaining 99.99999% of the planet

then it would be a star station and not an oil rig that is the only legal source of aurora in the galaxy

So pretty much everything about neon would be lost, thanks for your input though
