don't stock items in your house

They disappear. My New Atlantis Penthouse is empty, not even the bed remains :(

Strange. Every Bethesda game I played in your personal house they did not set items to disappear after a certain amount of time the cell was unloaded. In all other cells they would disappear. In Oblivion it was 72 hours. Not sure what it was in Skyrim. Something like this should not have been overlooked.

Did you load a previous save or something? I haven't seen this behavior at all.

Don't put weapons in your ships amory either. They will dissapear.

Did you just complete High Price to Pay? If so, I feel your pain. Put literal hours into decorating only to lose around 98% of everything in there. Fun bug...

I have about 20 containers, 3 loaded weapon racks, a bed, and all the work stations built. I also have some items placed on one of the wall shelves in my room, wooden duck, toy spaceship, motorcycle with sidecar, some books, and 2 plushies.

Yeah Skyrim had this too early on. Looks like the save state is getting corrupted or erroring out and its resting back to default. Should be a straight forward to fix at some point.
