Bethesda account needed?

If you need a Bethesda account for the Steam version I will not buy this.

Did they finally get rid of their online features that use their own account like in Wolfenstein Youngblood or will you still need an additional account?

If you want to purchase CC content, or download mods from the Beth website, you will to have an account. If you aren't concerned about either of those, then it is a non-issue.

Not sure on that, but, I don't think there is even a page for CC content for starfield yet. of course, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just that we can't see it. Yet. :D

Yes. I don't want any useless extra accounts.
With Wolfenstein Youngblood they only added the information about the account on release day or a few days before that. I refunded my preorder then.

Yeah it will be probably like FO4 if you want mods or CC stuff you will need an account but if not then no you wont have to have one..

To each their own, OP, but setting up an account costs you nothing but a few moments in time. Choose a unique password for every account you set up and you don't have to worry if they get hacked, which is the only reasonable argument, imo.

That is correct. Launcher and account are two different things though.

You don't need Bethesda account to launch the game. Only to use Creation Club for mods, if it's like Fallout 76. It won't have its own launcher either as Bethesda launcher is dead now. Why are you against buying a game just because you have to login though? Just type your username and password and login once, that's it...won't take more than 10 secs lol no need to be so bothered.
