Nexus will be dominant for sure and if you follow how previous game like F4 and SkyrimSE have done it with an in-game mods menu i think we all know where this is going.

Oh and i'm pretty sure that the superb Creation Club will be with us agains too!

skyrim SE do not have it, fallout 4 do not have it.

Not all devs actually use the forums on steam, they just have the 3 standard subs that every game gets.

and like been stated before, use nexus and their forum, thats where the modding is gonna be.

I seriously doubt there will be a Steam Workshop for Starfield. There will likely be mods on bethnet though. Nexus, of course. And I'd be mildly surprised if there wasn't a Creation Club. It might go away, who knows. Depends on how cost effective it's been and whether or not MS likes the nickel and dime roll ins.
What is so difficult about nexus?

Workshop can be REALLY bad for mods with many potential interdependencies.

Different versions may require specific versions of dependant mods, or a mod might update and break compatibility with some other mod, or one might affect the same base file in an irreconcilable way, or many other potential issues. Having manual installs of mods or following the instructions of mod makers on which requirements are in place are the best bet.

Nexus got the Starfield page set up, nothing realy to see yet, some vids. But it is there and waiting for the game & modders

@Deadoon: Wow, you'd make a *great* politician - IchbrauchdasfuerEnderal asked what was so difficult about Nexus, and you went on a big explanation about Steam Workshop.... 🤣

Steam workshop certainly won't be here for Starfield. It'll be Nexus and most likely Beth.net again.

Yeah, I just checked the Nexus and found that they sure have got the space set up. Now all we need is a released game so that the modders can get to it! 😀

It was in response to OP and talking about workshop for "easy mod installs". Workshop can be easy, but with how these games work easy does not mean good. I doubt creation engine 2 will be that different under the hood to be able to handle two mods affecting the same record in different ways reliably.

Ah, ok. Given that it just followed someone who'd asked the question, I thought it was a reply to that person. Sorry 'bout that!

I will play vanilla for a very very long first playthrough and then i wait for mods on nexus and loverslab and hope there will be a Wabbajack adult modlist soon lol. :D

I currently got "NEFARAM" installed for my Skyrim AE. Damn it's so perverted and sick and hardcore that makes it totally fun.
