How? Save right before I spend it, and if I don't like what I get, reload the save and try again :-)
You can't get superior gear, advanced is the best. 50% of weapons cannot be gotten, like magshear, hard target. Essentially the best items you can get is advanced trackers stuff, the rest is garbage.
I tried with 100+ rolls. Loot is severely limited once you start freestar missions as there is a vid that shows the different drops pre and post starting those.
Edit: you also get epic items occasionally after freestar. It is bugged
I got a really good shotgun today by save scumming a few times.
You get loads boarding ships in the serpentis system, max I've gotten from one ship is 4 astra.
The 3 Astra rewards were not even better than the Mantis stuff, which is complete garbage once you unlock the higher Bounty Hunter/Tracker armor.
Which basically means the Astra has a tier limit on it, which as others pointed out it does not spawn Superior drops.
Just became another reason why I do not foresee myself in spending Creation credits on any future Tracker Alliance content.
Only way they can save that Creation content is all future Tracker missions are Free with that $7 purchase instead of $7 per mission.
- Ships not spawning for hunt mission
- Confront missions failing (alive or dead)
- Finding out Astra is limited tier loot
- After twenty missions still says 0 bounties done speaking to Roach
- Randomly executing people on the street is really bleh
So which is mission is technically the one where it goes bad?
Edit: it literally removes 50% of items you can get. Without the missions you can get weapons like magshear and hard target, if you've done them you'll never get those from astra.
I don't see how that could have been programmed into the game even by accident. How could that quest line and the Astra vendor in any way be related?
