Bethesda: Request for refund ! StarSim: Mining Conglomerate : save loading problem !
Bethesda: Request for refund ! StarSim: Mining Conglomerate abnormally lengthens the loading of a save !!!

After spending hours looking for which mod could abnormally and extremely lengthen the loading time of a save, I finally found the culprit that had cost me, I think, 300 credits:

- StarSim Mining Conglomerate

As soon as I deactivate it or uninstall it, the loading time becomes normal, just a few seconds, while with Mining Conglomerate, the time goes to about 3 minutes !!!

I want a refund!!! Otherwise I'm going to get really angry !!!
(More than I already am !)

This is why I would never made a paid mod. I thought we were all in this together making and sharing our creations with the community. At least that is my opinion.

I doubt you'll get a refund and even if you do, it'll likely be in credits not funds spent

1000 credits = 10 dollars

Then report the creation on the Bethesda site, as it tells you in the creations menu, and then contact Bethesda directly; Explain the problem and express your desire for a refund.

Don't be angry at them though, that won't help. Making threads on Steam won't do anything, since Bethesda don't read anything and Valve can't help you with in-game purchases like this.

This. If you're actually trying for a refund, put in the request/complaint in the right place.

If you're just posting clickbait and doing the perfomative outrage thing. . . well, go right ahead. That seems to be all these forums are for.

Paid creations associated with issues are refunded in the form of credits.

Your save file should be enough justification.

As I replied in your other thread, this may not be an issue with the mod specifically on its own. I am running it and don't see the same thing you're seeing. My loads are still in seconds. So, it may be a combination of two or more mods, or it could be your save file, or it could be long term engagement with the mod. But just the mod itself being there isn't causing the slow loads or I'd see it as well. It's fine to call for a refund if it's truly broken, but I'm not sure it is. I would try on a new character, and I'd try on the old save disabling all mods but that one. This isn't intended to "defend" the mod, it's intended to reveal the true problem to avoid your save becoming hopelessly corrupted.

However, the loading time is back to normal since I deleted it !

If it's not him/it, then it's incompatible with other mods !

Unfortunately it is and always has been Bethesda's policy to offer zero refunds for in game purchases through the Creations Club or refunds of Creations Credits. Make better decisions with your money in the future. Sorry for your net loss.

I created a ticket on the support, but I am lucid, I will not be reimbursed...

Anyway, if it had worked, I would have had to translate it entirely: by deleting it, I have that less to do...

After compiling shader cache for the first time, the startup loads are only between 15-20 seconds. Mid-game loads are only between 10-15 seconds for me, and I have an RX580 with 8GB of VRAM.
So... what's the problem?

My loading times were in minutes, it was much more than 20 seconds, and I'm only level 11!
Without the mod, loading now takes 2 or 3 seconds !

And I have an RTX 3070, i7-11700 3GHz, 32GB, 1TB SSD, Asus RS Z590-F, Win10 Pro...etc.

It's not brand new, but the game runs well, it's fluid, and it even seems like Bethesda has improved some things, because my PC heats less than before (at the beginning of its release)...

i read OP's post history and everything is about problems he got while using MODS..

it is like why you are here instead of on the MOD site discussion forum to SOLVE your problem instead of trolling this forum for non starfield problem ?

i find this post and OP other posts are disingenious as everything is about MOD MOD MOD
