They did say that the plan is to do more story expansions for Starfield, even as the team continues to work on Elder Scrolls VI.

If you remember the interview Todd Howard did with MrMattyPlays he said they intend to release more Starfield expansions for what he hopes will be "a very long time," confirming, "We're planning for the one after [Shattered Space]. So there will be another one."

Bethesda plan on more DLCs, hopefully expanding the settled systems and adding new factions. Lots of possibilities, one or more lost colony ships having developed their own little empires, a race of robots and what happened to their creators and many more possibilities for sure

Todd specifically stated that there would be ongoing content "for years to come". To me, that sounds like they have a plan to release (at least) yearly major content drops like Shattered Space, interspersed with smaller Creations drops on a more regular (every 1-3 months kind of thing) basis, probably for at least the next 5 years or so.

Me as well. I think a dlc like that will help flesh out some more of the lore. I would be very excited for that.

At this point I'm thinking slightly more likely not than releasing another one. If they do bother with one though it should come with a ton of new ship parts, and expand on the overall mechanics available.
