Borderless Window. Also, you can sometimes get flicker and tear with frame gen. If it's too much, I'd suggest lowering quality to the point where you don't need FG.

You may have to tweak a bit up and done. For example, if you don't like or notice DoF, turn it off, or if you're at 4K drop to 2K. You can probably go higher on some things, like textures, and lower on others, like effects. Takes a bit of fiddling, but you SHOULD be able to get to 60fps. Just my 2¢, but chasing optimal performance is often detrimental to game enjoyment. I learned a long time ago to just set it to where my frames are acceptable and play. Like, you've solved your flicker problem. So just play for a while before tweaking.

ive turned off frame gen and just put the quality on high and just gonna play, i like 60fps and more but not at the let down of windowed mode or triggering epilepsy

Check your power settings and see if your Windows decided to go green.

I had a horizontal screen tear that kept going on and off. Turned out my PC decided to go green and it halved my refresh rate to cause it. After I set it to to th non-green settings the screen tear went away,
