you're completely off topic, do you realize that ?

i just wanted to ask - does the speed of this buggy matter at all if you have not more to explore than before just faster ?
Of course it matters, it changes how you drive the vehicle
It's like asking if a new weapon matters if you face the same hostile npcs, of course it does
Adding explorable content is one thing, improving movement capabilities is an other. Both improve the experience
People can't seriously be thinking the vehicle would be the saving grave for this game and after 12 months.. the "update" breaks a key aspect of the game that breaks immersion.
Where are NPC's and their vehicles? Only for the player? It's still laziness from a "AAA studio".
I just cleared most of the pirates in an 'abandoned robotics factory' from the vehicle. Shot the fixed turret, then just sat on the landing pad as all the pirates and robots came to me. Wiped most of 'em out with the buggy weapon. 5 x baddies left inside buildings. Andreja was impressed.
an amphibian car.
I'm not bashing the game though, I love it. But you are mistaken.
Also, my guess is the entire project was aided by the Rage devs at id. Seems very familiar in how it handles.
