Console Commands - Steam Deck

Anyone know if the virtual keyboard on Steam Deck allows you to enter console commands in Starfield?

I did some Googling and I can really find is "It's a PC so I don't see why not." That's helpful! LOL

Try `/~ key. It might need to be bound in your keybinds as I saw a post saying they had to bind it as it was not bound by default.

Yes, map the tilde and enter keys to the back buttons.

Ok mapping the tilde and enter keys to the back buttons makes sense. Is this done the same way no matter what game you are playing? Sorry, never re-mapped keys before.

It should be. Keymapping is pretty straight forward. It's all done in a menu in settings. It should be the same in most modern games.

So I tried this in the Witcher 3 since I already have that game. I tried to re-map the tilde key as L4 but when I do it selects ` and not ~. It doesn't appear that the screen will let me hold shift to change the ` into ~
