3 men and a Barret (SPOILERS)

So Barret has 2 companion quests and one is taking him to a temple and getting him a starborn power where he duplicates himself. So in fights from then on you have 2 Barrets helping you. This makes him twice as good as any other companion in fights. I just find that annoying because if i bring someone else I know that my effectiveness is diminished. I don't know, i just get annoyed with him calling me Dusty. But 2 Barrets with 2 kodamas applying bleed effects like crazy melts enemies.

On a somewhat related note, which weapon is best for companions? Given that they don't need more than 1 ammo for their weapon and then they have infinite ammo with just the 1.

Multi-Barrett is sort of fun but it gets old after a while.

In my experience being alone with the isolation perk is much better for end game, at a certain point you will kill hostiles too quickly for your companions to do anything so you may as well buff your MC.

Full auto weapons seem to work pretty well cause there is no ammo problem, but I generally pick andreja early on because she has an inflictor by default (much stronger than most weapons you can drop at low lvl).
