What's your favorite City so far?
Atlantis is the 1st City we get to go to, and has a lot of Quest, as well as a faction (Or two).

It also has a subway that take you around, lot of peeps walking, and the place look clean.

You can even find your folk Living there (If you took the perk), lot of stores, and it's a place where the HQ for the main story is.

Personally it remind me of the Citadel from Mass effect, just bigger. Even the music is similar.

Akila City is muddy, and it has a 'everything must look muddy' feel to it. (It's like we are back to Morrowind, where the game swim in Mud).

I also don't like the zig zag I have to do, and the npc there seem to have this 'We are the better ones because hurr durr we are free'. Redneck lol

But the city with it's flaws grew on me. Especially at night time, kinda remind me of Kirkwall at Night.

The one city I don't care to visit is the one on Mars. Urgh....

Of course there is also Neon, but I admit: for all the hype, I expected better.

Omega from ME may have been a small tiny map with the Afterlife club, but damn it was still memorable. The only memorable thing about Neon, is my character trying that damn drug once and becoming an addict right away :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

What's yours?

Does the tram work now or is it still just fast travel? (No-clip shows that the path is a complete path with a broken part that seems to want to lead to a 5th location... a 5th location that would show up as a discoverable waypoint with no map icon or fast travel after the attack.) The Tram path looks like it was to be part elevator, part horizontal with two places providing quite a nice view.

No-clipping also shows that the engine has underwater awareness with the player character gasping for air when leaving the water area.

New Atlantis has evidence of things that were cut without needing no-clip. No-clip simply confirms it.

I also cannot stand how the upper floors of the MAST building are larger than the building is at those levels. They haven't mastered TARDIS technology.

I'll take the muddy shanty-town of Akila over New Atlantis. Now if there were equine-like creatures to ride...

You mean like the tram take you from one area to another? it work as it always did. It's Fast Travel.

Did they ever connect the elevator in the Pioneer Tower (Mom and Dad) to the tower from the lobby? There was nothing but empty space above the lobby where the elevator is located.

It looked like "Whoops! We forgot to put in a lift and, now, there's a restaurant here. Maybe nobody'll notice if we put it over here instead." I noticed.

My favorite is The Key. Though I'm not sure that counts as a city.

It's weird. Because upon reloading, the tram work just fine. Then suddenly, it stop moving. I already reported the issue when it happen the 1st time to Bethesda.

Well it has a bunch of merchants that buy anything all close together so selling loot is great there. Then if you complete the storyline there you get a player house there. There's a mission board with pirate themed missions. You can buy Crimson Fleet ships at the ship technician, and pirate armor at the armor merchant.

Oh, so it is the perfect place if you side with the Pirates then?

You can buy a house on Akila as well. I brough one just to remember (late) 2 things: (a) I have the dream house already and (b) I'll be jumping in the end Lol

But the sale's man sure was happy taking my money lol

Neon. You don't have to run all over to get to everything you want. Very little is not on the main floor and it's compact.

The problem I have with New Atlantis is that it's size is an illusion, and it's very easy to see though it and break the immersion the game was trying to give. The NAT that never actually travels (just another loading screen), the store keepers that never sleep and stand in their stores and sell 24/7 (or 48/7 I guess), the other named NPC's that have no home and just wander around in set locations again all day and all night, the bar with the same bartender and patrons never changing, little things like the janitor woman talking about seeing her boyfriend that night but never leave the location just walks around sweeping the location (would it have killed the devs to have her holding a cup of coffee after you give her one and watch her stand by and drink it), etc.

Yeah all the cities suffer from this same problem, but IMO it's just more noticeable in NA, I guess due to the number of named NPC's that feel like cardboard pacesetting for where a person is supposed to be.

Anyway because of this I much prefer the smaller cities/towns.

Gagarin Landing. Love the look of the place. The unfolding corporate takeover of a small and resistant town. The Mech Factory history. I'm still in the process of exploring every inch of the place and loving it.
