Still pretty cool him sharing his experience, giving other players a heads up.
If you were unaware, game forums are for gamers LOL
According to them, no problems should be reported here because "devs don't read anyway" lol. All the fanbois want is to write only positive things.
I highly doubt it.
Exactly right, they want their echo chamber, because they can't handle other opinions.
It's really sad how hypersensitive folks are these days haha
You don’t have the quest mark for reporting Hurst’s corruption the Sysdef, true. I am not sure if this is a bug or the game just not holding your hand. Could be a bug.
But anyway, if you figure out where to find SysDef you just tell them that you still need to get the package from Hurts and the man in charge will say that he will wait until you finish your business with Hurst before arresting him. Then you go to Hurst, tell him you did what he asked and he will “release the package.” Frankly, I’ve never checked if that package was physically present in my inventory. I always simply go back to the guy who wanted the package and complete the quest. Later on if you visit the mayor’s office you will see that the mayor is gone and replaced with the man to whom you reported the crime. So, Hurst is indeed arrested and removed from power.
Alternatively, you can blackmail Hurst instead of reporting him to SysDef. So, you have multiple ways to do this quest: 1) simply blow up the ship and report back to Hurst; 2) board the ship, kill everyone or persuade the captain, retrieve the evidence then a) report to SysDef, b) blackmail Hurst.
I’ve never had any problems/bugs with any of that.
Nope that's not true, I never see those guys in any thread where players are asking for help, not once ever.
And the OP is helping his fellow gamer, he's aware that an official report is where the Devs will actually see it, we all know that LOL
I can also add to this: You kill the pirates and get the evidence. Leave and destroy the ship.
Now you have optional choices. I always go back and collect the package from Hurst.
Then you can optionally end it with blackmail or turning evidence it over to security. I've never done it the wrong way so can't comment on getting the package if you turn him in first.
That is the end of it as I remember from running it several times.
As far as Henry goes, I've always end it with gun play.
Other than that I believe both Ellorien and tkwoods added some optional choices so let's hope OP is able to get it sorted out.
