Does Starfield need a 2.0 Overhaul like Cyberpunk to survive?

Yup. Not a joke, I actually believe so.

Needs a new engine all together to make it actually open space exploration. They shouldn't of used this type of game engine for a space game its absurd putting a space exploration game into small loading screen bits. true space exploration wont happen, it would take another decade of development. Star fraud failed and nobody plays it anymore... sad Fallout 4 still had 120,000 players at this time after its release. Star field is at 20,000 you need a huge change for starfield to bring back even 100,000 players.... Bethesda's big update was letting people eat chunks... lol. would have been best to have just released the next elder scrolls or fallout 5 than even create star field in the first place.

...to survive. *yawn*

Probably won't see anything like that from Bethesda.

Once the new mod tools come out, we'll start seeing serious improvements

LOL, no. As fan service to appease haters and make them stop trolling? I don't know, I'm not in that camp. Also, CP didn't need the "overhaul". As former haters started watching the anime they started playing a game that was mostly the same except for gimping a lot of RTX features. And they had the benefit of a few years of hardware catch up. The game was intrinsically the same as before and it was THIS that turned the hatetrain around, not the Phantom Liberty release.

nope. Idk maybe my expectations were too high for cyberpunk but nothing can fix that game. Starfield, in comparison, is unadulterated fun. The only thing making cyberpunk last is the amount of sexual content in game. tell me i'm wrong.

While this game got out in a prety bad state it can not compare to the mess CP was on release, also it indeed is the least bugged game bethesda ever released but they never claimed it being bug free.

While i do agree a lot needs to be adressed an full rebuild is not needed, they just have to rebuild parts and finish off others that are clearly cut short in the end of development. Replacing the game engine it self is a no go, it is this exact engine that allows modders todo their thing. Any other engine can not even come close to mod ability's. Bethesda sure has work todo but if they forgo their engine modding too these games stop

I wish we had a good base game even if it was bug ridden, but instead we got a fallout 4 in space with less bugs and abysmal performance. An overhaul will not help, the writing is generic, boring, the game is done in. At best modders will help fix the "procedural generation" to make exploration more interesting.

How many YEARS did it take CP77 to get that complete overhaul? And you guys still say it was a better game at launch than Starfield was. Sigh.

Starfield needs some updates, and it will get some updates. But it does not need an overhaul. If you would rather play CP77 then go play CP77.

Starfield is a PG-13 snoresville that looks like it was written by early models of AI, no amount of overhaul will help with that, it needs a remake.

Sadly, while Cyberpunk had a proper game engine which they could patch and fix to make it a playable game, starfield is a pile of stinking ♥♥♥♥ of a game. No patch can fix the underlying problems with the game engine.

Sure, they can. They only need to add 'fishing' and I am happy ;)

Starfield is a pretty good game, I have no idea what you want.
