Overdesigned quest offering metacommentary on this game lol
There is a quest called Overdesigned that literally offers metacommentary on Starfield. About a bunch of ship designers wondering what type of ship to make.

Have a bunch of features that doesn't tie to each other, a large cubersome ship or a smoother ship that does it's job right with all the parts working together in tandem.

It feels like this is the writer's cry for help, but it's completely true, most of the quests doesn't tie together with the ship gameplay, the outposts is useless and appeals to a niche qudience, there are also no interesting quests tied to the outposts, and the weapon modding is unnecessary and stupid 2200s, in space, and I can't just ask someone to attach additional mods on my weapons? I just can't get over how stupid this is.

Starborn powers are clunky and grindy but the the idea is there, if integrated correctly, the game could actually become very fun. If they don't rework the powers, and a modder actually fix this before them, then I don't know who Bethesda is employing there.

Most of the mechanics in this game doesn't tie to each other. The narratives is here and there, some quests are sci-fi and incredibly interesting with crazy choices to make.

Others are boring fetch quests with no story that goes nowhere. Not funny, not interesting, just a guy telling you to go from point A to point B.

For sure, Starfield isn't a terrible game but I can see why people are calling it a terrible game, right now, I decide to not give it a rating because I can still somewhat enjoy it but damn, are the faults glaring.

Topic premise is confirmation bias and overreaching, at best. Just one more troll thread. <sigh>
