And become the Hunter. 😎
Cannot relate at all this seems alien to me. Also what do you mean missions with different outcomes haven't seen any. the only ones with choice are the faction ones. (as far as i have seen)
Werent you defending every fiber of the game in a thread you made like uh 2-3 weeks ago?
What I would pay to go back say 30 years.
Then there's the other fetch quests that go along with the main quest. The go to a temple and fetch the power 240 times. Each of the 24 artifacts has an associated temple. So each artifact is actually 2 fetch quests. Fetch the artifact, then fetch the power.
Starfield is a fetch quest simulator.
Then you reach NG+ and you realize what the game has been all along. It really is Fetch Quest: The Game. In each universe all the starborn are in a competition to fetch all 24 artifacts and all 24 powers and reach the unity to become more powerful. Each NG+ interval is a new round, and each universe is that round's playing field.
The problem here is that the player can't lose. You can't lose that round to the Hunter or Emissary or any other Starborn. The Player wins every time. It's like that episode of the Twilight Zone where the gambler died and his afterlife was a casino where he always won.
NG+ could have been great. It could have been a competition. Instead it's repeatative busy work.
The game was clearly made disjointed and then assembled post, without consideration.
I feel like a high pacman doing the temples. Luckily there is a mod to fix it. And when I say fix it; I mean no more space pacman ;)
I mean if players want to do 10 NG+ runs and be God like in the game, then go for it if that is your thing. Personally I would find that boring. There is so much more to the game than just doing that over and over.
You really feel the plot armor when your 'virgin' character defeats a starborn that should be god compared to you.
